I made all my pool table accessories from maple and maple faced plywood. This cue case is basically a frame with edge lap joints that frame in pieces of plywood (for the top section and a backer board (for the bottom edge).[/wpcol_1half][wpcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]

The inside of the top has holes drilled in it to hold cue tips.[/wpcol_1half]

The bottom is divoted with a Forstner bit to hold the butt end of the cues. I cut out round pieces of sticky-back felt to sit into each divot. The whole thing is finished with a pigment finish-and-stain in one polyurethane after being sealed.
